Privacy Policy

Nauyokas Insurance Agency

Effective date: October 14, 2026

Nauyokas Insurance Agency (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and disclose personal information when you visit nauyokasins.com, request an insurance quote, communicate with our agency, enroll in text messaging, or use our services.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on your interactions with us and the insurance products or services you request, we may collect:

  • Contact information: Name, mailing address, email address, and telephone number.

  • Quote and application information: Date of birth, household members, drivers, vehicles, property information, business details, insurance history, coverage preferences, and other information needed to evaluate your insurance needs.

  • Sensitive application information: When necessary for the insurance products or services you request, we may collect driver's license numbers, Social Security numbers, financial information, or health information. Some information may instead be collected directly by an insurer or its authorized service provider.

  • Policy and service information: Policy numbers, coverage details, renewal information, service requests, and information you provide when seeking assistance with a claim.

  • Communications: Emails, text messages, submitted forms, correspondence, call recordings, and notes about our interactions.

  • Consent and preference information: Whether you agree to receive messages, the types of messages you authorize, when and how consent was provided, and requests to unsubscribe.

  • Technical information: Information collected through website hosting or related technologies, which may include IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and access dates and times.

Please provide only information reasonably necessary for your request. Do not send Social Security numbers, driver's license images, payment card details, passwords, or sensitive medical information through ordinary website contact forms, email, or text messages. Contact us for an appropriate method of providing sensitive information.

2. How We Obtain Information

We may receive information:

  • Directly from you through forms, phone calls, meetings, emails, text messages, or insurance documents.

  • From someone authorized to act on your behalf.

  • From insurance carriers, referral sources, lead providers, or other parties when permitted by law.

  • From sources used in insurance quoting, underwriting, or servicing, subject to applicable requirements.

  • Through your use of our website, as described in Section 7.

Receiving your contact information from another source does not automatically establish your consent to receive marketing text messages from our agency.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information as appropriate to:

  • Respond to questions and requests.

  • Prepare insurance quotes and assist with applications.

  • Evaluate coverage needs and explain available options.

  • Facilitate policy issuance, changes, renewals, and other servicing.

  • Assist with claim-related communications.

  • Schedule appointments and send permitted reminders.

  • Provide appropriate evidence of coverage to authorized parties.

  • Send communications consistent with your consent and preferences.

  • Maintain business records and document consent.

  • Operate, secure, and improve our website and agency services.

  • Prevent fraud, investigate misuse, and comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

Sensitive application information is used and disclosed as necessary for the requested insurance transaction, related servicing, and other purposes permitted or required by law.

We do not treat your visit to our website, acceptance of this Privacy Policy, or provision of a telephone number alone as permission to send recurring marketing text messages.

4. When We Disclose Information

We may disclose information as necessary and permitted by law to the following parties.

Insurance carriers and insurance service providers

We may provide information needed to obtain quotes, process applications, service coverage, or assist with insurance-related requests.

Service providers working for our agency

These may include website hosting, customer relationship management, communications, document management, and technical support providers. They receive information needed to perform services for us, subject to applicable restrictions.

Professional advisers

We may disclose information to attorneys, accountants, auditors, or other advisers when reasonably necessary.

Federal, state, and local government agencies

When authorized by you or otherwise permitted or required by law, we may disclose relevant information to federal, state, or local government agencies, insurance regulators, law enforcement, or courts. This may include responding to valid legal process, meeting regulatory obligations, preventing fraud, or protecting legal rights.

Banks, lenders, landlords, and other parties with an insurance-related interest

When authorized by you or otherwise permitted or required by law, we may provide relevant insurance information to financial institutions, banks, mortgage lenders, lienholders, landlords, property managers, lessors, or other parties with a documented interest in your insured property, vehicle, business, or coverage. This includes parties designated as mortgagees, loss payees, additional insureds, or additional interests.

These disclosures may include evidence of insurance, certificates of insurance, applicable coverage details, or policy-status notices, as appropriate to the party's role, the policy terms, and applicable law.

We limit these disclosures to information reasonably necessary for the authorized purpose. Having an interest in insured property does not give a party unrestricted access to your personal information.

People you authorize

We may disclose information at your direction or with your authorization.

Any disclosures through website analytics or advertising technologies are described in Section 7.

The sharing described in this section does not authorize sharing SMS opt-in data or consent for third-party marketing. The SMS-specific restrictions in Section 5 apply to mobile information collected for our texting program and to SMS consent records.

5. Text Messaging Privacy and Consent

Information used for texting

If you enroll in our text messaging program, we may collect and maintain your mobile number, name, messaging preferences, message history, and records showing when and how you provided or withdrew consent.

We use this information to deliver authorized messages, respond to you, maintain consent records, and process opt-out requests.

Types of text messages

Depending on the consent you provide, messages may include:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders.

  • Responses to questions and requested assistance.

  • Policy service updates and renewal reminders.

  • Insurance quote follow-ups, coverage offers, and other marketing communications.

Marketing messages require separate, appropriate consent. Consent to informational messages does not automatically authorize marketing messages.

Optional consent

Participation in our texting program is voluntary. Consent to marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing insurance or receiving a quote.

Where we collect consent through website checkboxes, the checkboxes are optional and unchecked by default. We distinguish consent for marketing messages from consent for informational messages.

Where we collect verbal consent for eligible informational messages, we document that consent. A recorded conversation alone does not establish permission to send marketing texts.

No sale or sharing of SMS consent for marketing

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile information collected through our SMS program with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or transfer SMS opt-in data or consent.

We may provide the minimum information necessary to service providers that help operate and deliver our messaging program, such as messaging platforms and telecommunications providers. This information is provided to support our program, not for those providers' independent marketing.

Other sharing descriptions in this Privacy Policy do not authorize sharing SMS opt-in data or consent for third-party marketing.

Frequency and charges

Message frequency varies based on your requests, policy activity, and the messaging program you enroll in. Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless service plan.

Opting out

You may stop text messages by replying STOP to a message from us. You may also contact our agency to request removal from our texting program.

You may receive one final text confirming your opt-out. We will not resume program messages unless you provide new consent.

Opting out of text messages does not cancel your insurance coverage or eliminate any obligations under your policy. We may use other permitted communication methods for necessary policy service.

Getting help

Reply HELP to a message, email jnauyokas@farmersagent.com, or call 317-660-1710.

Additional program details are provided in our SMS Terms and Conditions, available through the website's SMS Terms link.

6. Phone Calls and Recordings

Our agency records telephone conversations for business purposes, which may include documenting requests and consent, maintaining accurate records, quality assurance, and training.

We provide recording notices and obtain consent where required by applicable law. Recordings may contain personal information discussed during the call and are handled under this Privacy Policy.

Recording a call does not replace any separate consent required for text messaging or marketing.

7. Cookies, Analytics, and Website Tracking

Website hosting and forms

Our website is hosted on Wix. Wix processes technical information, such as browser and device information, page activity, and access times, to deliver, secure, operate, and measure the website. Where you use a Wix-hosted form, Wix processes the information you submit on our behalf. See the Wix Privacy Policy.

Appointment scheduling

Our appointment links open AgencyZoom's scheduling service, which uses Nylas. Information provided for an appointment is processed to schedule the meeting and support our agency's follow-up. These providers may also process technical information when their services are used. See AgencyZoom's Privacy Policy and the Nylas Privacy Policy.

Website analytics

The website loads TWIPLA Website Intelligence, formerly Visitor Analytics, to help us understand website traffic and use. The information collected depends on the configured privacy mode. See TWIPLA's privacy information.

Advertising technologies

The website uses Google Ads tags and the Meta Pixel to measure interactions and support advertising. These services may receive information about your browser, device, page visits, and interactions, and may use cookies or similar technologies to relate activity to advertising. See the Google Privacy Policy and Meta Privacy Policy.

Maps and reviews

The website loads Google Maps to display our office location and a third-party Google Reviews widget to display review information. Loading these features can disclose technical information to their providers. Google's practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Your choices

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may affect website functionality. You can also manage advertising preferences through the controls offered by Google and Meta.

Consent to receive text messages does not authorize unrelated advertising tracking or the sharing of SMS consent for third-party marketing.

8. Information Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure.

No website, electronic transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please contact us if you believe information you provided to our agency has been compromised.

9. Information Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain insurance and business records, document consent and communication preferences, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable obligations.

Retention periods vary by the type of information and the reason it was collected. We may retain limited records of an opt-out request to help ensure that your preference continues to be honored.

10. Your Choices and Privacy Requests

You may contact us to:

  • Ask about the personal information we maintain about you.

  • Request correction of inaccurate information.

  • Update communication preferences.

  • Withdraw text messaging consent.

  • Request access to or deletion of information where applicable law provides that right.

Depending on where you live and the laws applicable to the information involved, additional rights may apply. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law, including any available appeal rights.

We may need to verify your identity or authority before fulfilling a request. Some information must be retained for insurance servicing, recordkeeping, legal, or regulatory purposes, and some information may be subject to legal exemptions.

To make a request, email jnauyokas@farmersagent.com or call 317-660-1710.

11. Information About Children

Our website is intended for adults seeking insurance products or services. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under age 13 through the website.

An adult may provide information about a child or dependent when needed for a legitimate insurance purpose. We handle that information in accordance with applicable requirements.

If you believe a child has submitted information directly through our website without appropriate authorization, please contact us.

12. Farmers Insurance and Other Third-Party Privacy Notices

Our website may link to Farmers Insurance, other insurance carriers, payment services, or other third-party websites. Those websites and organizations have their own privacy practices and notices.

For information about Farmers' collection, use, and disclosure of personal information, review the Farmers Insurance Privacy Statement and any customer or product-specific privacy notice provided to you.

This Privacy Policy describes Nauyokas Insurance Agency's practices. It supplements, but does not replace, applicable Farmers Insurance or other insurer privacy notices. It does not govern information those organizations independently collect and maintain.

When you submit information directly through an insurer's website, application, or payment system, review that organization's applicable privacy notice.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, services, or applicable requirements. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date.

When required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before making a change. Updating this policy does not expand the scope of any SMS consent you previously provided.
